Chillihead Shisa Sriracha Chilli Sauce. This is our our mildest offering and our own natural take on the world famous Thai style condiment. Think of it more like a zestly tomato sauce with a hint of garlic. We have crafted this Sriracha with natural and healthy in mind. All ingredients used have been carefully selected to deliver a chilli sauce that is natural and wholesome. Chillihead’s Shisa Sriracha is made with a base of lacto fermented Jalapeño and tomato puree infused with Asian flavours. This Sriracha has a fantastic balance of sour, sweet, savoury / umami & spicy. Tangy citrus and tomato flavour up front. Then sweetness kicks with soy, garlic and fish sauce, delivering a distinct savoury/umami and salty lingering flavour on the palette. It delivers a delightfully well rounded and long peppery burn that is most enjoyable. Hotter than most Srirachas, but very approachable for those who don’t do hot chilli sauces.
A brilliant sauce to go with a breakfast fry up. Super with pork, chicken, fish and a great sauce to add a moreish zing to a braai (BBQ), burger or humble slap chips.
Ingredients: Lacto Fermented Jalapeño, Tomato, Garlic, Organic Soy Sauce, Coconut Blossom Sugar, Natural Himalayan Rock Salt, *Fish Sauce (Anchovy & Salt Water), Fresh Lemon Juice. No preservatives, colourants, thickners or additives.
