Serrano Pepper

Serrano Chilli Seeds. This is a chilli that originates from the mountain regions of Mexico. An early grower. A good grower. Pods are similar to the Jalapeño, but are fleshier, fruitier and hotter in our experience. Plants are also covered in hairs, giving them a fuzzy appearance. Pods are prettier without the typical corking one gets on Jalapeños. The Serrano... this is a must in any Chilliheads garden!

Germinate indoors 2 months before last frost - July/August. In trays/pots. A heating pad is recommended for hot cultivars (keep temp at 26-32ºC). Keep soil moist but do not over water! Pot Sizes:

	Small = 1-5 Litres*
	Small to Medium = 5-10 Litres*
	Medium = 10-15 Litres*
	Medium to Large = 15-20 Litres*
	Large = 20-25 Litres*

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers  - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
