Scotch Bonnet MoA

Scotch Bonnet MoA chilli seeds. The Scotch Bonnet MoA (C. Chinense) is an icon among chillies. This variety comes straight from the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA) in the Caribbean. These can be tricky to grow and it all has to do with the conditions you provide. This variety do like hot humid conditions and once established will grow well without fuss. What a wonderful variety of Scotch Bonnet these are! Big strong plants yielding lots of super large Scotch Bonnet pods. These pods are very iconic and easily recognizable with their four outer lobes and middle bulge. Pods are massive and ripen from dark green to red. The pods are slightly lumpy on the outside and just full of placenta on the inside. The aroma and flavour on these is just irresistible! Amazing sweet, fruity aroma and flavour - fantastic burn and heat! These pods are up there with the hot Habaneros, but if you are one of those people who does not like Habaneros, these chinense have a different flavour profile. No hiccups here either - just pure eating pleasure. They like their chillies hot in the Caribbean and this ticks all the boxes. It's beautiful and not just big - but big on flavour and heat too. Super for eating raw in salsas, super for sauce, great for cooking, super for powder. If you try any Scotch Bonnets this season - the Scotch Bonnet MoA has to be on the list for sure!
