The Ring of Fire Secluded Chilli Seeds. Time to put on the track from Jonny Cash and savour these searingly hot beauties. The Ring of Fire (C. Annuum) is an all time classic cayenne variety. Great growers, this variety is dependable and is low maintenace. This variety has been around for a while and we are happy to see it back in the store as it is just consistently good. A very compact and productive plant, producing loads of cayenne type pods that ripen from dark green to bright red before darkening to a deep red. This variety does not disappoint - as the name sugests - this is one very hot cayenne. Very tasty too! The only criticism we could find was that we found the skin on the pods a little tough. But the flavour made up for it. Great for dishes that need instant heat. A great chilli for drying and making a cracking hot powder. Really, a super cayenne variety to grow.
