Puswa Jawala

Puswa Jawala Chilli Seeds. The Jawala is a Indian Cayenne variety. Great growing plants that reach a good 1,2m in height. Loads of pods that are Cayenne like in shape. They do look a little odd as they have a phase before turning red, when they look like they are spoiled. The orange appearance together with the wrinkled out does make them look like they have spoiled. Not the prettiest chilli on the block... but what this chilli does not have in looks it more than make up in flavour. truly amazing! And very understandable why this chilli is prized as much as it is in Indian cuisine. Great for curries and making flakes as well as very aromatic powders.

Germinate indoors 2 months before last frost - July/August. In trays/pots. A heating pad is recommended for hot cultivars (keep temp at 26-32ºC). Keep soil moist but do not over water! Pot Sizes:

	Small = 1-5 Litres*
	Small to Medium = 5-10 Litres*
	Medium = 10-15 Litres*
	Medium to Large = 15-20 Litres*
	Large = 20-25 Litres*

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers  - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
