Northern Mariana Islands Birdseye Chilli Seeds. Northern Mariana Islands Birdseye (C. Frutescens) is a very special frutescens variety indeed. good germination and growth. This variety does benefit from an early start. The plant has a fantastic bushiness to it. Dense foliage covered in hundreds of white flowers. Pods are typically Birdseye. Small pods set on anvil calyxes and very long stalks pointing upwards. A good producer and seems tollerant of cooler temperatures. Pods ripen from dark green to orange and finally red when fully ripe. Ripe pods seperate from stalks very easily. Pods are small but very hot. There is a lovely fruitiness to these pods. A wonderful peppery burn that lingers perfectly. A truly magnificent Birdseye variety. If you are looking to grow a Birdseye variety - then look no further. you will not be disappointed with this variety.
