Moruglah
Moruglah Chilli Seeds. The Moruglah (C. Chinense) is a cross between Trinidad Scorpion Moruga (2,000,000 SHU) and Trinidad 7Pot Douglah (1,800,000 SHU). This hybrid is an F3, so still not totally stable - although we did not experience any variations in pheno type. But, variations are to be expected. This is a very hot chilli. We can't say how hot exactly - but we felt that this variety is not up there with the parent varieties. This could be dfown to growing conditions and future generations may yield hotter varieties. When you cross two of the hottest chillies in the world, you end up with some serious heat! A really awesome variety. Super grower and producer. Pods were not huge, but then when you get to this level of the chilli world - it does not take huge pods to create damage. Pods in our experience were slightly broader than a bhut, shorter. This plant was laiden with pods - so a great producer in our books. Flavour was fruity, sherbert and a subtle hint of floral. The smell on these was super divine - fruity, citrus and sherbert. Heat wise, we are guessing that there are around the 1,000,000 SHU mark. As mentioned - this can vary dramatically with growing conditions. The burn on these is superhot, back of throat and front of mouth. But the flavour on these is really fantastic.

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
