Manzano Orange
Manzano Orange Chilli Seeds.This is a great gem of a chilli. Can be tricky to germinate in our experience, but once taken, grows expeptionally well. An unusual and rare chilli. This variety of Capsicum Pubescens gets its name from the plants being covered in tiny hairs (Pubes) – making the stems and leaves look silvery and furry. This also makes the plants more adapt to cooler growing conditions, which means they grow well in the early and late growing periods. Also, the hairs make this plant quite robust to insects/pests. Pods are large and do take a very very long time to ripen. Changing from dark green to a lovely orange colour once fully ripe. Pods are plump, crunchy, juicy and super tasty with a great heat that is really very unique. Pubescens chillies have the other unusual characteristic of having black seeds. Definitely a chilli to grow if you are looking for something truly unusual.
