Kashmiri Mirch Chilli Seeds. The Kashmiri Mirch (C. Annuum) is an icon in Indian cuisine. This chilli comes from the Kashmir region of India. Not the prettiest chilli in the garden, but this chillies prized attribute is not it’s good looks. It is praised for its brilliant colour and flavour. These chillies are dried and made into powder. Kashmiri chilli powder is well renowned for the brilliant colour it brings to dishes. These plants grow to around 60cm (possibly larger), producing lots of large Cayenne shaped pods with a dark red exterior. This is a very special chilli indeed and will be an absolute prize and must have for those of you who love to make curries.

Germinate indoors 2 months before last frost - July/August. In trays/pots. A heating pad is recommended for hot cultivars (keep temp at 26-32ºC). * The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers  - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
