Habanero Brown Pointy
Habanero Brown Pointy Chilli Seeds. The Habanero Brown Pointy (C. Chinense) is a chilli that is commonly sold by growers around the globe as either a Black Habanero or Brown Fatalii. We refuse to follow the global trend of selling these as Fataliis, as they are not Fataliis. Firstly, the shape (Pheno) does not match that of a Fatalii and (secondly) the falvour has nothing in common with that of a Fatalii and (lastly) - Brown Fataliis are not native to Central Africa. As far as we are concerned, these are Habaneros, but we do not believe that Black is an appropriate name for these either as they are not black. So we have chosen to rename these as exactly what they are - Habanero Brown Pointy. Having got this out of the way, these are really cool to grow. Typical C. Chinense growth and plant type. Plants grow to around 80cm in height, producing a generous yield of pods that ripen from a dark green to lovely chocolate brown. As already discussed, pods are elongated pendant shaped and pointy at the tip. Their vague Fatalii resembling shape has many growers selling these as Fatallis... but lets not go there! Very hot Habaneros with a typical chinense up front burn and herbacious flavour. A subtle chocolate hint in the aroma. Pods do take a long season to ripen.

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
