Haba Gambia
Haba Gambia chilli seeds. The Haba Gambia (C. Chinense) is said to originate from Gambia - hence the name. This variety of Habanero are great growers. Plants grow to about 60cm in height. Compact, bushy - typically Habanero structure to these plants. In our experience this variety is a great producer, producing large pods that are larger than a golf ball - so quite large pods! Pods are smooth and folded on the exterior and full of placenta on the inside. Pods ripen from a pale lime green to orange and ultimately a bright red colour. The aroma on these is citrus and sweet. These pods are thick walled and very juicy. Heat is pretty much instantaneous, with a up there Habanero heat. Flavour is sweet, fruity and delicious! A great Habanero variety that can be used fresh in salsas or to make sauce or to use in hot stews etc.

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
