Ecuadorian Devil\'s Breath
Ecuadorian Devil's Breath Chilli Seeds. The Ecuadorian Devil's Breath (C. Chinense) is an exceptionally tasty and hot Habanero variety from Ecuador. This reputedly is one of the hottest chillies in Ecuador. This variety is a good grower and exceptional producer. It grows to a height of around 50 - 60cm and is a super producer of large red habanero pods. Pods ripen from a light green to orange and finally bright red colour. These pods are large by any standard. Thick fleshy pods that have a super fruity sweet aroma. Flavour is sweet and fruity - unmistakeably habanero. Undertones of citrus as well. These pods smell sweet and fruity - totally awsome habanero variety. But warning, these are exceptionaly hot habaneros. The burn from these is up there with the hottest habaneros. Heat wise, we are looking at around 300,000 - 400,000 SHU. A very peppery burn that borders on ulcerating burn. Front of mouth and back of throat burn. These pods are very large and fleshy, which does make them very suitable for salsas & sauces. Obviously these would be great for cooking as well, but in our opinion, these would be ideal for making salsa & sauces. A really awesome habanero variety to grow!

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
