Cheiro Roxa (Secluded)
Cheiro Roxa Secluded Chilli Seeds. The Cheiro Roxa (C. Chinense) is an absolutely stunning variety from Brazil. It's a real collectors chilli and very unique. Plants grow easily in our experience and without fuss. Stunning little plants that can grow to around 80cm in height. Lovely structure to these plants that immediately sets them apart from other plants. Purple stems and branches and dark foliage with a green blush all go to make the appeal of this variety. And we havent even gotten to the fruit yet! Fruit starts off a dark purple that progresses to brilliant bright purple. These pods go through multiple colour changes, going from purple to white/cream through peach to orange and purple. Pods are pretty unique too with a upside down flat cone shape. The aroma and flavour on the pods is very sweet with a scotch bonnet - bannana/toffee profile. These chillies do definitely tick all the eye candy boxes. We imagine that these would be super dried and made into a chilli powder. They are not quite fleshy and large enough to substantiate making sauces out of these. But with good looks like this varuety who cares :) A definite must grow in our books!

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
