Calapeño Thunder Chilli Seeds

Calapeño Thunder Chilli Seeds. This is our very own hybrid. This is a cross between a Californian Wonder (Yellow Pepper) and a Jalapeño (Red). Hence the name "Calapeño Thunder". Tall plants reaching about 1.2/1.5m. Large pods that look more like giant Jalapeño's. Pods change from green to red and are also ±10,000 SHU. What we like about these is the heat and flavour are just perfect. Crunchy, juicy, hot and sweet... we just loved these!

This is the third year that this hybrid has come into our hands. So we anticipate that these seeds are not stable. But if you are interested, these seeds are definately worth a try! Anticipate colour and phenotype variations on this variety.

Germinate indoors 2 months before last frost - July/August. In trays/pots. A heating pad is recommended for hot cultivars (keep temp at 26-32ºC). Keep soil moist but do not over water! Pot Sizes:

	Small = 1-5 Litres*
	Small to Medium = 5-10 Litres*
	Medium = 10-15 Litres*
	Medium to Large = 15-20 Litres*
	Large = 20-25 Litres*

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers  - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
