Brown Egg Chilli Seeds. The Brown Egg chilli (C. Chinense) is an unusual chilli variety with an unknown origin. This is a good grower that produces loads of green pods that are smooth and have an oval/elongated shape. A bushy chinense style plant that will grow to around 60cm in height. Pods are thick skinned and have a good heat to them 10000 - 30000 SHU. These green pods eventually change to brown when fully ripe. These pods have a smoky, hebacious flavour profile.
