Bola (Secluded) Chilli Seeds
Bola (Secluded) chilli seeds. The Bola (C. Annuum) originates from the Estremadura region of Spain. The name "Bola" meaning ball/bell in spanish which refers to it’s general shape. These plants grow well and produce early on in the season, although pods do take some time to fully ripen. Plants are small to medium and a good producer with lots of golf ball sized, heart shaped chillies that ripen from a dark green to a dark red. The skin on these pods is quite leathery, which is why they are most suited to drying and turning into powder. In Spain, the dried pods are manufactured into the famous rich, dark red powder called Pimentón de la Vera.

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
