Bhut Jolokia Caramel Chilli Seeds. The Bhut Jolokia Caramel (C. Chinense) is a lovely variant of a popular cultivar. A great grower in our experience, the Bhut Jolokia Caramel is also a great producer. Pods ripen from a pale green to orange through to caramel. Slightly more reddish caramel in colour, but who are we to judge naming conventions. Pods are large but appear shorter in our experience - not the long phenos tradiotionally associated with Ghost Peppers. Exterior texture of pods is fantastic - these pods have a lovely rippled exteriror to them. Heat is typically Bhut Jolokia with a lovely long burn. Flavour is bitter at first, followed by sweet and that typical herbaceaous flavour associated with brown/chocolate coloured pods. Slightly more fruit and sweetness in these. 10/10 for culinary use. It's a Ghost Pepper of course... it is fantastic.
