Bengal Naga Peach Chilli Seeds
Bengal Naga Peach Chilli Seeds. The Bengal Naga Peach (C. Chinense) is thought to be cross of Bhut Jolokia and Dorset Naga. The original strain we understand was red. Since then and somewhere along the lines a peach variant of this variety has joined the ranks.
We love this variety. It's an all round winner. It is super sexy with its lovely bhut phenos and peach colour. A very textural exterior adds a sense of imminent danger to this variety - and deservedly so! This is a very hot chilli indeed. A great grower, producing large chinense plants and super yields of pods. We estimate the heat to be around the 1 million SHU mark, but the burn from these beauties is perceptively much worse. Flavour is just spot on, fruity, sweet, and that typical bhut aroma and flavour. All round a fantastic and very unsual variety indeed.
This variety is not recommended for pot plants and small container growing as plants do get very large. A super variety for making sauces, salsas and powders.
Definitely on our recommended list!

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
