Antillaise Caribbean 14.5 Chilli Seeds
Antillaise Caribbean 14.5 chilli seeds. The Antillaise Caribbean 14.5 is a variant strain of the Antillaise Caribbean Habanero (C. Chinense) that originated from the Caribbean islands. This variation is more elongated and pointier than it's original strain. Plants germinate and gow well to a small to medium size plant. A good yield of pods can be expected from this variety with our plant producing a good 12 - 20 pods. Pods do vary in size, but are a very decent size. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a subtle hint of musk and citrus. The flavour of these is sweet and fruity - absolutely delicious. Crunchy, medium skinned pods that have placenta running along the inside of the pods. Heat of these pods is hot, but still listed on the upper scale of our medium heat chillies with an expected SHU of 200,000 - 250,000. This can vary considerably given growing conditions. All round, this chilli gets our thumbs up for flavour and great heat. We can truly appreciate why this chilli is so popular in the Caribbean!

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
