Aji Santa cruz Chilli Seeds. The Aji Santa Cruz (C. Baccatum) comes from the island of Tenerife, where it gets its name from the captal - Santa Cruz. A lesser known, yet awesome Aji variety. Pods have a similar shape to the Aji Amarillo with an average size of ±12cm. Pods are thin skinned and ripen from green to a lovely red colour. Pods have a very mild heat and an irresistable smell/aroma. Great for using fresh, drying for powder, pickling or making sauce - so a very versatile chilli. Plants grow to a medium size, producing lots of pods. Suitable for container planting as well as garden planting, this is a very unsual and versatile chilli to grow.
