Aji Ethiopian Fire Chilli Seeds
Aji Ethiopian Fire Chilli Seeds. The Aji Ethiopian Fire (C. Baccatum), as the name suggests, originates from Ethiopia. This is one of those cultivars we have attempted growing for years and has always escaped us. Finally we have a lovely plant and we can report it was well worth the wait and patience. A super plant. A lovely bushy plant with wispy branches that yield dozens and dozens of pods. Pods are pendant shaped with long stems. They start out a lovely light green and eventually turn red when fully ripe. These chillies range around the 30,000-50,000 SHU mark, which places them in our medium category. Flavour is sweet and tropical. Really quite a stunning and unusual cultivar to grow and quite different to all the other Baccatums out there. Definitely one that we will be growing again and very handy around the kitchen.

* The container sizes above are sugested sizes that are reasonable and accessible for most growers (taking price, space, ecological/environmental impact into consideration). Not everyone can look at growing in huge containers. If you can justify growing in larger containers - there are no limitations on container sizes. You may however, rather look at growing in soil as an option in these instances. Using large amounts of potting medium will come with ecological/environmental impact, which you may wish to take into consideration.
