Bhutlah Brown Chilli Seeds
Bhutlah Brown Chilli Seeds. The Bhutlah Brown (C. Chinense) is sometimes also referred to as Choco or Chocolate. The Bhutlah has come about as a result of crossing the Trinidad 7Pot Douglah with Chocolate Bhut Jolokia. This is avery very very hot customer indeed! If it is heat you are looking for, you don't need to look further than this. Some growers are saying this is hotter than the Carolina Reaper, but this variety has never been tested - so it is unsubstantiated. What is sure is that this is one of the very hottest pods out there. This variety is a great grower that will grow to around 50cm in height. A good producer of elongated gnarly pods that resemble the brown douglah but seem more elongated and pointy. Pods take time to change from green to brown. We did notice two variations on the colour with these. Some of the pods had dark chocolate brown colouring and some where a lighter more russet brown colour (more of a red tinge). Whatever the case, these were super fragrant pods. Floral and sweet on the nose. Herbaceous, chocolate flavours at first. Slightly bitter to start, followed by sweet and insane heat. This is a chilli for the seasoned chillihead!
