We use various Courier comanies to deliver our orders. These Couriers deliver nationwide around South Africa.
There is a standard charge of R100.00 for deliveries (up to 2kg) - no matter where in South africa you live (with exception to access restricted premises**** - additional charges may apply).
This service offering prescribes delivery to Main Centres* around South Africa the next working day **. Outlying areas may take up to 72 hours for delivery***.
* 50km around each of the above areas is usually considered a main centre.
** The Couriers endeavour to deliver by 12:00 the next working day. High delivery volumes in your area may result in deliveries taking place after 12:00 up to 17:00. Any deliveries that can not be completed due to too many deliveries in the area, incorrect delivery details or customer not being available - will be rescheduled for the next working day. No deliveries on weekends or public holidays.
*** Outlying areas are areas that lie outside the 50km around each Main Centre listed above. Deliveries to outlying areas are handed over to third agents and may take up to 72 hours to deliver. No deliveries on weekends or public holidays.
****Please Note: Couriers do not deliver to PO Boxes and will only deliver to physical addresses. The couriers will deliver to the following, but deliveries may experience delays & additional charges:
It is up to the customer to ensure that all delivery information is correct. Incorrect information may result in delays of delivery or parcels being re-routed back to our office, which may result in additional charges. Generally the couriers will attempt three deliveries before returning the parcel to sender. It is up to the customer to ensure that the contact number given is operational and active. If the couriers can not get hold of you, delivery may fail.
Customers are advised that the standard courier service offered is trackable, but does not cover loss, theft or damage to goods in transit. The Couriers and Chillihead will not accept any responsibility for goods stolen, lost or damaged while in transit. Should you wish to avail yourself of insurance, you must select the insurance option when checking out you order on the site. The insurance amount is based on the total value of the order. Insured items will be replaced and re-shipped free of charge by Chillihead. But unless this option has been selected at check out, the Couriers and Chillihead will not accept any liability what so ever.
