Bahamian Beast Chilli Seeds. The Bahamian Beast (C. Chinense) is a new hybrid between a Bahamian Goat Pepper and an unknown Super. Not to be confused with the Bahamian Goat Pepper - not the same. A vigorous growing plant with great yield. Not a terribly large plant, but a great yield of large pods from these plants. Pods have the general Bahamian Goat Pepper shape but the skin of these pods is rougher and more angry in appearance, probably due to the cross with the superhot. Pods also are pretty massive and growing conditions permitting - may even get bigger. Pods do take time to ripen, but do eventually ripen to a bright red. In our experience pods changed to orange like the Bahamian Goat Peppers and then eventually changed to red once fully ripe. Flavour is sweet and fruity. Traces of habanero with the lemony tell tale and some floral notes from what we presume is the unknown superhot. A great heat and wonderful aroma to these pods. A really interesting alternative to a well known classic chilli in the chilli patch. As mentioned this variety is a hybrid variety and must be considered as unstable. Variations can be expected - but then that may be just the fun you are looking for :)
